The room at Baan Lung Poshtel was amazing! It had everything I needed, like air conditioning, a fridge, and even an oven. Plus, the balcony had a great city view. I felt right at home.
Personally, I didn't really like the soundproofing in the double room. It felt a bit too isolated for my taste.

The hostel offers modern and clean rooms with comfortable beds. the staff is friendly and helpful, making you feel at home. the hostel has a great location, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions on foot or with public transportation.
There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom that persisted throughout our stay. the lack of lockers in the rooms could be a concern for some travelers, although the option to store belongings with the owner offers some reassurance.

The owner of the hostel was incredibly friendly and sweet, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The 6-bed female dorm was clean and comfortable, although the mattress was a bit too hard. The hostel was calm and quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The beds were spacious with enough room for guests to relax. the location was perfect for exploring the Old Town and nearby temples, and there were various transportation options available, including taxis, bikes, and local buses.
As I only stayed for four days during Christmas, I cannot comment on how the hostel might feel when crowded. However, I would suggest bringing your own sleeping liner when staying in a hostel.

I chose Baan Lung Poshtel because it was conveniently located near Wat Phra Singh and Tha Phae Gate, which were at the top of my must-visit list. However, one feature that pleasantly surprised me was that they offered both American and vegan breakfast options every morning. It was a great way to start my day with a delicious and satisfying meal.
No lockers, but no problem.
